Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using NodeDraft. By installing or utilizing the application or website, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, installing, or executing NodeDraft ("the Application"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree, do not use the Application.
2. License Grant
NodeDraft grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to install and run the Application on supported devices for personal, educational, and professional mind-mapping and outlining purposes.
You may not distribute modified application binaries, reverse-engineer, decompile, or commercialize the software without prior written authorization.
3. User Content & Intellectual Property Ownership
NodeDraft is a creative authoring utility:
- You Own Your Ideas: You retain 100% intellectual property ownership, copyright, and trade secret rights over all mind-maps, diagrams, outlines, notes, and documents you produce in NodeDraft.
- Zero Cloud Claims: NodeDraft makes no claims of ownership over your content and has no access to your documents.
4. Local Data Storage & Backup Responsibility
NodeDraft operates with a 100% local-first storage architecture. Your canvases and notes are saved strictly on your device. You are solely responsible for creating regular backups (e.g. exporting to markdown/JSON or utilizing OS device backups). We are not liable for data loss due to device malfunctions or app uninstallation.
5. App Intellectual Property
The visual canvas renderer, node-graph layout logic, user interface code, logos, brand elements, and application assets are the proprietary intellectual property of NodeDraft developers and protected under international copyright treaties.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use NodeDraft to author or store content that violates applicable laws or infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
NodeDraft is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted canvas rendering.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developers or distributors of NodeDraft be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business ideas, note corruption, or hardware failure.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of NodeDraft following published modifications constitutes acceptance.
